I'm afraid this is the last skweee mix for a while, as I've now used all my favourite skweee vinyl. The good news is that each mix contains different tunes to the others, so they should serve as a comprehensive introduction to the wonky world of skweee.

The tunes on this mix were released by the main skweee labels Harmönia (Finland) and Flogsta Danshall (Sweden), as well as Finland-based labels Huge Bass and GAEA. Mighty Robot Recordings from Scotland and Planet µ (the first English label to release skweee) also feature on this mix.

Please please support these pioneering labels and (more importantly) the artists. Skweee is available in CD, vinyl and downloadable formats.

1. V.C.: Skweee On

2. Randy Barracuda: Shock The Plankton

3. Markis Sage: The Mad Processor

4. Mesak: Big In Japan (303 Reggae Mix)

5. Eero Johannes: We Could Be Skweeeroes

6. Beem: Mouth Everest

7. Eero Johannes: Leisi Elli

8. Uday: Ghetto Bomb

9. Eero Johannes: Sumuhumus

10. Ed DMX: r100 (Uday Remix)

11. Boyz Of Caligula: Must' Amamba (Sonar Edit 2008)

12. Randy Barracuda: Duck Butter (Black Trance Mix)

13. Beem: The Famous

14. Joxaren: LIHOP

15. Eero Johannes: Hal Manifesto

16. Imatran Voima: Lok Da Groove

17. Eero Johannes: Katt Witt 700 Watts

18. Jesse: J.E.Z.Z.E. (Boyz Of Caligula Skweee cover)

19. Eero Johannes: Natt I. Spårvagnen

Here's another instalment of that electrofunky stuttery simple music called Skweee. That's spelt with 3 e's people, don't forget! This new vinyl-only Skweeemix includes some releases from last year and a couple from this year.

Most of the tracks featured in the mix were released on the two main Skweee-oriented labels (Flogsta Danshall from Sweden and Harmönia from Finland). The debut releases of two newish labels, Temporarily Morons and Eden Hashish Center, are also in the mix. Huge Bass, an established Finnish label, features too.

Most of these tunes were produced in Finland and Sweden, but there are tracks from skweee-ers from England (Metske), and France (Wankers United) in this mix too.

There'll be another, slightly more uptempo Skweeemix from me at some stage, hopefully in less than a year this time....
1. Markis Sage: Two City Clash (Temporarily Morons)
2. Spartan Lover: Sabre (Harmönia)
3. VC: Standart (Harmönia)
4. Rigas Den Andre: No Class (Flogsta Danshall)
5. Unknown artist: Unknown track (Eden Hashish Center EP Track 4)

I did this for my own nostalgic enjoyment really. It's just a compilation of some of my favourite tunes from this era, concentrating on classic UK hardcore labels. As usual, no beatmixing, and scratchy old records to boot.

"There are some solid tunes in these unmixes. I highly recommend giving them a listen. Although do so at your own expense. These old mixes always tend to hit the pocket book down the road. So much music and so little money to by it all!"- Trevor Wilkes
